The ICC Cricket World Cup is an international 50-over cricket competition organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It is held every four years and features teams from around the world competing in a limited-overs format. The first World Cup was held in 1975, and the most recent one was held in 2019 in England and Wales. The next World Cup is scheduled to be held in India in 2023. The team that wins the tournament is awarded the Cricket World Cup Trophy.
